We are not inclined to forget those who have benefited mankind in one way or another. Remember the nobel price issues for outstanding performens in the fields of: medicine, literature, economy, chemistry, physics, and world peace. And the pulitzer price in the fields of: journalism, letters, and music, and many other in the national as well as international scope. But can the reward system we developed so far touch upon the whole spectrum and qualities of achievement in multivarious field of human endeavor? Can it be regarded equivalent in strength compared to the other side of justice, the punisment system?
Indeed, we do not tend to forget heroes, we only ignore them. As we use to execuse to ourselves, isn’t it natural thing to do, doing good to our fellow man? Isn’t it the token of highcivilization? So, why this fuss about rewards? Yes, my friend, how right you are! Doing good to our fellow man is indeed expected of us all by our creator. Let he alone is to judge who is to be rewarded and what is to be reward, In the after life. But wait! Doesn’t this statement reflect our unjust attitude one again? Even God is supposed to provide heaven besides hell in the after life, so why do we-human being-build only hell on earth? What an injustice! We do not know when we start to build a model pf prison like Alcatraz island or the Gulao Archipelago as a forced labour camp in Siberia, and wether we will continue to establish prisons everyway all the time. But is there any Garden of Eden for those who have benefited their society? If we dare to apply the death penalty to the lowest criminal, why aren’t we sincere enough to provide our best services for those who have enchanged our wellbeing? We may probably prolog their invaluable life and promote their creative achievement with such attitude.
